You can create a stand-alone email delivery from a campaign, from the Adobe Campaign home page, or in the Marketing Activity list. You can also create and send single-send and recurring emails from a workflow.

In this video, you will learn how to create an email in Adobe Campaign. To get started select create an email from the home page.
Select an email type to start from a pre-configured email.
Fill in the general properties. You can enter a new name and edit the identifier.
You can create an email within a campaign. To do this, select it from the existing campaigns drop-down. If needed add a description.
Next, you need to define the target audience that will receive the email. Drag and drop the profile from the shortcut menu.
Select profiles that contain an email address. In field, select email.
Once again drag and drop the profiles. This time we want to exclude blacklisted profiles.
In field, select no longer contact by email.
Make sure the value is set to no so that your email only reaches contactable emails.
By clicking count, you will get the number of recipients of your email. You can also click preview to see the list of recipients. Now, it’s time to design your message content. Select use the email designer. Welcome to the home page of the email designer. Click create to design an email from scratch. First, make sure you click subject and enter a subject line for your email.
The subject line is mandatory to send your email. Here you can also modify the sender name.
We will now define the structure of your email. From the left drag and drop the structure component to compose your email layout.
Next, we will define the type of content to add to the structure by inserting fragments and components. You can create and insert a header fragment. You can insert an image component.
Click browse to upload a file.
You can insert and remove structure components at any time while you’re designing the email.
Let’s add a text component.
Here you can select the colors of your text block.
You can also adjust the style of your text block.
You can insert a personalization field in your text.
You can also adjust the style of your text.
Let’s add a button component and link it to a page on your website and let’s add another text component.
You can apply padding and change the text color or the background color of the button.
You can select parts of an email, save it as a fragment and insert it later into other emails.
You can modify inserted fragments.
For example, you can adjust their style to your email.
You can insert a fragment containing reusable mentions like social media to save time.
Let’s modify the footer fragment to add links.
You can add links to the unsubscription page, to a mirror page or even to your websites home page. Once your email is finished and you are satisfied with the design, click save.
The email dashboard is displayed. The dashboard is composed of different blocks which allow you to define and control the parameters of your email. The audience block enables you to edit the target of your email and test profiles. If you have not previously defined an audience, you can do it at this point. The content block lets you edit, personalize and preview your email. The schedule block sets the send date of your email.
You can now prepare your sending or send proofs.
Once you define the audience, the content and the schedule, your email is ready.
Click confirm to launch the delivery of your email. Your email has been delivered.
