Workflow use-case: Creating deliveries with a complement

You can send an email to customers: one for clients created less than a year ago, one for clients created more than a year ago.
  1. In Marketing Activities , click Create and select Workflow .
  2. Select New Workflow as workflow type and click Next .
  3. Enter properties of the workflow and click Create .

Create a Query activity

  1. In Activities > Targeting , drag and drop a Query activity .
  2. Double-click the activity.
  3. In Shortcuts , drag and drop Profiles and select email with the operator is not empty .
  4. In Shortcuts , drag and drop Profiles and select no longer contact by email with the value no .
  5. Click Confirm .

Create a Segmentation activity

  1. In Activities > Targeting , drag and drop a Segmentation activity and double-click it.
  2. Hover over the segment then click on to target customers added this year in the database.
  3. Drag and drop Profiles and select Created with the filter type Relative .
  4. Change the Level of precision to Year and select This year .
  5. Click Confirm twice.
  6. In Advanced Options , check Generate complement to create a segment targeting the remaining recipients.
  7. Click Confirm .
  8. Click Save .
To observe the structure of the rule, click on Advanced Mode .

Creating an Email delivery

  1. In Activities > Channels , drag and drop an email delivery after each segment.
  2. Click the activity and select to edit.
  3. Select Single send email and click Next .
  4. Select an email template and click Next .
  5. Enter the email properties and click Next .
  6. To create the layout of your email, click on Email Designer .
  7. Insert elements or select an existing template.
  8. Personalize your email with offers specific to each delivery.
  9. Click Preview to check your layout.
  10. Click Save .
