Used in conjunction with gloss= and rough= to control reflection and gloss effect behaviors. Different materials will produce different effects, even if gloss= and rough= are the same.

Properties

Material attribute. Ignored if the vignette does not include 3-D reflection data or if gloss effects are disabled in the vignette.

Default

catalog::Type if the material is based on a catalog entry. Otherwise type=0 . If not specified, or if type=0 , the server will select a suitable default depending on the target object and the other material attributes.
